The Disability Digest Affiliate Program

Just two, three, and sometimes four hours a week and DDAP helps supplement my income.  I love how I can work at my own pace and have the option of working when I want... and when I am feeling up to it.

About Me

My Story...My name is Sandra Booth, (Sandi), and I am 48-yrs young. I currently reside in the Smoky Mountains of TN.

In November of 2008, I became very ill and my health began to deterriorate and affect every area of my life.   After a very long exhausting year, many tests, labs and x-rays, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Infectious Disease Syndrome.  I had also  been
previously diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Depression.

I have been a very athletic person most of my life playing softball, basketball and golf.   I worked 20+yrs in the corporate world as a receptionist, secretary, management, and then changed fields to a medical transcriptionist.  I lost my job and then went back to working as a receptionist.

When these health issues came into my life, my world was turned upside down.  I am in constant pain and I am tired all the time... never feeling rested.  It is difficult for me to accept my daily life and struggles. Many days just getting out of bed is a major task.
I struggle with depression...before my diagnosis I was always a person who was motivated, goal oriented and I loved to keep in shape, take my dog to the park for walks and play golf.

In 2009, I lost my job, my home and my car. I am now in the  process of appealing my SSDI denial with my attorney to appear in court.
It's been a long road, but I am not giving up even though I fight that feeling almost every day.

I have chosen to channel my disappointments, boredom and time to something more positive.  I do the best I can each day with inspiring and encouraging others while they are on life's journey whether it be jumping through all the Social Security Disability hoops, living and coping with their disability or just looking to make their financial load a little lighter.

Therefore; this all has lead me to this opportunity...becoming an affiliate for Disability Digest.  I truly believe in what Brian Therrien is doing...helping those who need the resources and support while going through the hoops of filing for disability. The Disability Digest Guide and website is full of so many resources  I also am grateful for the opportunity that he provides those of us who are on a fixed income and need to supplement that income.  Thanks Brian!

I hope I have the opportunity to support, encourage and inspire you!

Success to YOU and God Bless!
